Welcome to NACFAM! We hope you take the time to learn about our exciting new initiatives in “network centric manufacturing,” STEM education, supply chain optimization, technology and innovation and sustainable manufacturing.
These new policy initiatives seek to make realistic gains for U.S. manufacturers, while recognizing the budget realities of the federal government. We believe that our vision for the manufacturing sector -- to be sustainable and globally competitive -- can be achieved by increasing the return on U.S. public investment dollars by making manufacturing-related federal policies and programs more effective.
We need to start discerning within our own organizations, associations, institutions and companies what programs we think are effective and how they could be more effective through collaboration. We hope you will join us in this effort!
Sincerely,
Eric Mittelstadt
Chief Executive Officer, NACFAM
